Story feels back on track thank GOD. Still HATE the not telling her you’re dying to protect her bit. 🙄

Holding out hope but this book is getting a little repetitive and showing vs telling way more than I care for and way more than the first two books.

Also, secrets amongst friends and miscommunication trope in the 3rd book!? :(

I fear this book isn’t keeping the momentum of the first two. Also, my issues about it being repetitive make me nervous as I’m 1/3 in and this is way longer than the 1st two.

wtf was that ‘inn’ scene. The spice was meh, but Diem & Luther took uncharacteristic turns & the way they dealt with things, communicated, etc. felt off.

If you know me, I HATE when rules aren’t consistent or when stakes they’ve made a big deal about don’t matter. Like when it’s, if the queen commands you, you obey no questions, & then they don’t. Still LOVING but 1st major gripe of series.

Never a huge fan of a romp through the woods but I’m surviving lol.

Still loving the book and series but hoping they get where they’re going soon…
