I will finish this but then I’m done. It’s so boring. Feels like a fantasy hunger games and I don’t care about any of the characters. It’s the same love triangle nonsense that’s in every book like this.

I think about this a lot: If I had known where this story was going to end up, or at least how disappointed and annoyed I would be by the end, would I have kept going? And the answer is probably not. It's not worth it just to 'keep up with trends', or whathaveyou. Even if this series came across my path a year later than it did, I don't think I would have read it.
