Why in god’s name are the epilogues nearly a quarter of the book’s length

Possibly the greatest benefit to a 1400 page drama is the sheer amount of angst that you can fit into it; no need to be satisfied with love triangles, we’re getting love dodecahedrons.

So far there’s a whole lotta war and not so much peace

Long books are all fun and games until you read for 4 hours and see the percentage read has gone up by 3% and Kobo tells you you still have 46 hours left
