Okay, now this is getting to be quite interesting. the writing still seems a bit clunky to me at times, I can't pinpoint exactly why though. But Alice, I find her character to be relatable and sympathetic so far. As for Bo, less so. I really hope she's the one in prison, not Alice lol

This book is so dry. It is all tell, no show...sometimes it feels like I am reading an autobiographic wikipedia page that throws in an occasional ''poetic'' paragraph. I also found it strange how the MC is a writer, going through the manuscripts of other - aspiring- authors, and judges the literary merit of their work...she offers us these excerpts, so in a way she gives us an estimation of her own work? weird
