part 4 done. Very monotonous with sprinkles of plot progression throughout, but the brutality and the monotony (and the combination of both) is the point. A painful drag that culminates in an excited air of suspense as the part ends.

it’s getting bleak

part 3 done, hoping this is the end of introduction and some greater movement in the plot can begin. i imagine that it will given the title of part 4 is The Part About The Crimes

part 1 done, glad i picked this up again. Really liking the way that Bolaño writes
