There was a surprising part in the 39 Clues. Amy and Dan were working together to try and unfold a clue, but they both started to get really aggravated. They were screaming at each other. But Amy and Dan were always nice to each other, because they didn't have any other family. And Amy was left wondering weather the clue hunt brought on the violence.

There was a funny part in the 39 Clues. Dan and Amy were thrown off a boat by their evil cousin, Jonah Wizard. They fall in the Nile River, and realize that a crocodile is hunting them down. They swim to the closest boat that they can see, and get on. The man on the boat is startled, but lets them stay on. And only the reason he let them on was because Dan was wearing a Boston Red Sox t-shirt, and the man was a fan.

There is a very surprising part in the 39 Clues. Dan and Amy are looking in an old tomb, that is not supposed to be entered. But at the time, their assassin relative, Irena Spasky, is also in the tomb. And just when Dan and Amy almost found a clue, the exit slammed shut, and the lights went out.

I was confused in the 39 Clues, because some random friend of Grace (creator of the 39 clues hunt) had an object in her home that could lead Dan and Amy to the next clue. The winner of the clue hunt would have unlimited power, so I don't know why Grace would leave an important piece of the hunt in her friends house.

In the 39 Clues, there was a really funny part. Amy and Dan were stuck in their plexi glass cage, and then their babysitter/helper, Nellie, found them stuck, she couldn't stay serious, and kept on making jokes. While the air in the cage was running low, Dan and Amy were freaking out, and the guy Bae Oh was coming back, Nellie had everything under control, or at least she seemed like she did. She didn't rush at all.

I was really confused in the 39 clues. In the book, a bad man named Bae asked the main characters, Amy and Dan, where his nephew Alastiar was. When Dan said that he was dead, Bae said that they were lying, and imprisoned them. I was confused because 1. Alastiar was dead last anyone knew of, and 2. Why would Bae think, or know that Alastiar is not dead when he doesn't know where he even is?
