Okay, skipped the next chapter as it seems to be Lamar Underwood’s review of The Revenant. Did Underwood struggle to get the rights to publish a lot of bear attacks stories or what?

Another boring chapter. For a book about incredible bear attacks, I seemed to mostly be reading about people attacking bears.

Two chapters on Theodore Roosevelt, spanning 40ish pages? This is not what I got the book for. SKIP!

Including a whole excerpt of your own fictional bear story in a book about real bear attacks was certainly a choice, Lamar Underwood.

The 1st chapter was very interesting. It was about poor Brigitta Fredenhagen. It was a very intense opening to a book. The 2nd chapter? The most tedious crap I’ve read in a long time. This is supposed to be about incredible bear attacks & instead I’m reading 34 pages taken from Lewis & Clark’s journal of them killing animals & occasionally getting scared by the odd bear. Plus there’s an editing error here too
