This is how great high fantasy is written !!!

I love the pacing! It's not fast-paced—on the contrary, it's quite slow, but that allows the scenes to fully reveal the rich worldbuilding.

“That's the problem with people, though isn't it ? They always think that other people are the problem. You want to remove the Princeps? The senators? You'll just become them, sooner or later. If all you're trying to do is change who's in control, then you don't really want to change anything.” .....interesting.

The characters are so wise and clever, I want to highlight every single statement.

This book reminds me of how I felt reading/watching Harry Potter in middle school !!

I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID ! Now, I'm definitely hooked !! As the novel progresses, the narrative becomes more intricate. I love how the plot explores the theme of resistance !

This book is well-written, the story seems well-crafted, and the beginning is definitely promising – but somehow...I'm still not hooked!
