i feel like. i feel like i am a bit Over some of the concepts in YA/new adult(?) novels? like ohhh we're escaping this world, ohhh the houses are giving me hunger games districts, ohhh the narrator is so Dark and Edgy and Not Like The Others BUT ! i will say the sword duels got me. intrigued to see where this goes

oh yeah i am also intrigued by the "we're not telling you how to solve this!" so im ready to get over the worldbuilding and into the meat of the story
