I am still thrown at times by the mindspace of magic in this world, but more than not, I'm enjoying this. It's settled into a story I can keep up with and given me characters I want to know what happens to them.

What a beautifully weird telling. We've got a science fiction twist to our fantasy that hinges on time travel and molecular transition. Dragons and nanites living together with a biological weapon. Man, Tim is packing it in here.

The weirdness is through and has been for a little bit. This reads pretty easy now.

Ok, I'm getting it now. I still don't know how the threads go together, but I'm on page now. It's a bit of a fever dream, and I've been thinking of the monster as a Nasghul, but I'm keeping up.

Still down with Tim's narration. Although, day-ggers are funny.
