Don't sleep on this book ❤️

"Foreigners go on and on about the challenges of emerging markets, not knowing that the biggest is the hubris of irresponsible men." I am in awe of Chimamanda's writing in this book. The depth, the insights, the subtle ways she pokes at Nigeria, a country as well as a character. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I cannot help but read this with this lingering phrase, "Literary Novel" on my mind. You will want to read Dream Count for its weighty-ness: structurally and content-wise.

The difference a decade makes in the writing of books is palpable.
