Oh good I hate it when characters are like "Stop the plot! We can handle this later, but first we must have sex for the fangirls"

Have this wonderful mental image of Dale coming out of the tunnels completely naked, covered in dried blood, mud and cum all like "...what bitches?" ROFLMAO

This is book is restoring my faith in humanity level awesome :D Although not too thrilled by the 'our villains are responsible for everything bad that has ever happened' trope

Finally a universe where self lubricating body parts makes sense! Japanese fangirls rejoice!

I love the domestic abuse subplot here. Usually something like that is a cheap, soapy contrivance, but oh god this book does it so WELL. It just makes sense ... so heartfelt and interesting.
