Guys... I'm working on something and I want it to be m/m but it seems bound and determined to be m/f, SECOND BUT it also involves gender swapping (don't ask) and the 'f' is an 'm' who will eventually go back to a 'm' and the 'm' is originally an 'f' who will never ever go back for ... reasons........ Why can I never seem to write simple books that fit in nice categories?

I am not surprised.... not by any of it. Not at all.

So.... hypothetically. If I was to hire a ghostwriter to help me finish a WIP that's 75% complete... would that be wrong? :/

Hahah the little rating chart at the top of I'm the Guy You Hate looks like it's flipping off the reader. Appropriate things are appropriate :)

Other than two WIPs I'm finishing up... all my current plot bunnies are M/F or M/M/F. Don't feel much creative freedom in M/M dynamics anymore :/

Honestly I worry about this genre when people feel compelled to apologize for four star reviews.

Wilde City apparently wants to do a print version of I'm The Guy You Hate ... it's like they're gluttons for punishment, I don't even know O.o

Okay so... when I went over to Wilde City Press to see if I could download some review copies of I'm the Guy You Hate I was NOT expecting to see a BIG ASS BANNER promoting it in the carousel. @_@........

I may be in the minority here but I think I find the preachy blog posts from authors condemning bad author behavior more annoying than the bad author behavior itself. Maybe I'm too cynical, but it's kind of beginning to feel like inserting yourself into the drama in an attempt to leverage it for your own benefit.

I have to admit. I'm so used to aggressive content editing I find it unnerving when a publisher truly wants to let me write whatever I feel like O.O

What do we think about the quality of Wilde City Press's books? I don't think I've read anything they've put out.

Author gets nerd points for understanding what a brute force hack is but then loses them immediately for describing what has to be the dumbest security system I have ever heard of.
