This is 757 pages, 20 hours of a slow-cooking character development plot, and I'm hating 75% of it. 😌

Like, I don't even hate Nesta anymore. I don't have the energy anymore. I'm lukewarm to her. I understand people can be bitches, but when it's for internalized reasons instead of bigger reasons, I just can't muster the energy to give a damn about the character. Big diff from Aelin/Manon.

Help, I can't get myself to care 😭 last scene was cool and all but... it's not enough for me because I can't relate to Nesta at all. Or maybe I do, idk. The story is just too slow, too long, too everything 🥲 I see the appeal. I see stuff I enjoy and it's still not enough to staunch the boredom I feel while I'm getting through the story 🥲 it also feels like i know EVERYTHING because of spoilers

I feel like the understanding of physical prowess is really lacking here 😂😂😂 what do you mean a guy who trained his entire life (buddy is like 500 years old) can only last 5 minutes doing a plank??? I'm dead 😂

How can people forgive her bullshit, smh. IDK how people are loving her character. For the complexity and the antagonistic character, sure. But to love her based on her sole personality and actions? How?

Words that came through my mind while reading her POV : coward, selfish, mean, wtf, wow, is that progress?

Not a fan of Nesta, for now the redeeming points they are trying to shove into us are being overshadowed by her own selfishness
e.g.
"[Elain] chose [Feyra] when it used to always her and Elain"
"No one got destroyed by the war as much as I was"
"Now [Feyra] has a new family"
Also why tf did they make it so Feyra somehow didn't paint Nesta? Bish been tormented for months about her. The narrative makes no sense.
