I’m also in Australia and think the Australia-ness is well done! Normally I avoid them too but this one didn’t annoy my brain at all

Am going to pause the read though because I realised I want something high angst not high action right now lol
I’m Australian too and I put off reading the series for ages because I thought the location (and the accents in the audiobooks) would annoy me but I actually really enjoyed them ☺️.
