This book has taken me a long time to read. As a child growing up in the church in the 90s, I am just heartbroken to see the darker side of things, things us kids didn't see. I have had to walk away many times because I believe so many well meaning people had their minds twisted and were taken advantage of by "christian" messages. Ugh, it's a hard read but I am going to finish.
