We start in the very beginnings of geological and paleontological sciences in England, where a woman (in the 1810s and 1820s!) found the first ichtyosaur, plesiosaur and dimorphodon because she was digging up fossils to earn money for her family. A woman. A woman who helped to find a way for new sciences and sights onto the world - except for God and the church. Everyone should know her name. MARY ANNING.
