I DNFed. It just lost me. The pacing was so slow I couldn’t even concentrate; normally when I read fiction I fall into a book and don’t realize how much time has passed until either I fall asleep at night or an alarm goes off reminding me I have something to do.
I pushed and pushed with this book yet found myself having to go back and read almost entire chapters over again because my mind had wandered.
