I’d also like to add I do not trust nor like her bff just off of one interaction she seems like she’s just there bc Addie has the eye of the prince and she wants to be there in case it falls through

Not the prince coming off as rude, narcissistic, borderline abusive, controlling - and this girls telling her bff maybe we can get him to like you!!! Girl hello why would you want your friend around him.

Like this 26 yr old is asking permission to take a walk each day. She’s on and on about how much there is to do since her mom is going to have a baby (like why is she responsible to do everything. Where’s her dad?) idk it’s just really giving YA, which is fine except that it’s not supposed to be

I know this isn’t YA but so far it sure is written like it should be

Also I understand unmarried women live with their parents in this world but she’s 26 and she’s also talking to those around her like she’s 17

The dialogue is a bit clunky and there’s also a fair amount of repetition in world building (which drives me crazzyyyyy) so let’s hope it gets better as we go
