This has to be the most convoluted story, rambling writing I’ve ever seen.
There will literally be 30 minute long scenes where it’s just a guy describing some thing all to say one thing. Like one of the characters takes like 20 minutes to just basically tell the main character not to talk to somebody.

Oh btw, I'm probably going to drop this since Spotify STUDENT doesn't offer audiobooks AT ALL. It's so ironic, but when I switched from Individual premium to Student I got locked out of this audiobook lol.

The most meandering snail-paced novel I’ve ever listened to.
Is the point that bureaucracy sucks because everything moves so slowly and achieves nothing simultaneously? Almost like Kafka’s writing itself (okay subtract some shade his descriptions convey intent and mood well)…
