This looked so good, but I fear the beginning has me wary... it seems to be falling into all the patented romantasy tropes too early for my tastes. I think this deep and unwavering bond between Kier and Grey is happening too soon and too intensely (for the reader) to warrant harping on about it all the time. Within the first few pages, they are sharing a bedroll and kissing each other's palms!

Anyway, we shall see!
