Much like FW, I’ve missed that thrilling feeling up until now. Nice (and not so nice) things are happening, but I miss the intensity. But now - finally! Not that I’m into torture or anything, but it feels good to be kept in the dark a little and not always be so straightforward with the plot.

Will X rescue V from the dungeons? And is Liam’s soul really there to help her or is it a hallucination?

Would have been nice to get some chapters from Xaden’s pov by now. To mix things up a bit. We got it in the end of the FW and I hoped it would continue, but not yet…

Long before lightning was her signet, Violet fell back on one thing to gain power - Knowledge. Now that everything she thought she knew turned out as lies, she is lost. She is pissed at X and B for keeping secrets, but I also think she is pissed at herself for not seeing the truth before. That is why she can’t navigate her emotions and direct her anger correctly. She knows she has failed in her biggest strength.
