i know that it’s TV, i know it’s TRUE CRIME TV, but discarding the idea of a very educational and interesting show that consists on interviewing and learning from offenders only because john douglas wouldn’t provoke or get on joseph kondro’s face is insane to me. how would that have been any productive?? why did they want to see him all riled up and being confronted?? i hate stupid people omg

i’ve tried reading mindhunter before, and i’m hitting the same issue here—john loves to yap. he circles around his accomplishments, the people he helped, how he changed the fbi, etc. it’s been 10 pages since he mentioned he’s going to interview a killer, and he’s still rambling about the fbi… stuff he’s already said in other books. like… wrap it up!
