really interested in how psychological research supports Fisher's idea of "reflexive impotence" . as a psych undergrad i'm not new to the concepts of "learned helplessness" and how perfectionism affects our motivation/demotivation in taking action; a pessimist view of the world and the future are well-known to be a feature of (clinical) depression. (contempo.) philosophers use psychology words in an interesting way!
