I still wasn't sure about the arrangement, but with Paget's full-time school still two weeks away, I needed all the help I could get to keep up with Paget. The thought of playing sleuth suddenly held a growing appeal to me. In some ways it was like being a doctor. You looked at the symptoms as if they were clues and then solved the mystery of the illness when you issued a diagnosis. This was kind of like that—of course, as a doctor you tried to avoid turning your patients into corpses.

There was a quote from me at the bottom, it read: "I know what I saw, and it was indeed the frozen body of a male subject. I've attended medical school for three years now, and if there's one thing I can recognize—it's a dead body." Oh, shumbunnies.

I scratched the back of my neck while thinking of diagnosing myself with coverall-itis. Wonder if I can add it to the Physician's Desk Reference ?
