idk how to feel abt the deaths… like i hated one person but the other grew on me… just feel bad for taryn tbh, and especially for leander for losing a father figure.

jude is annoying me which makes me sad cuz i LOVE her. cardan needs to talk to oak in private already bc there rlly be miscommunication between em.

im so happy that oak is back in elfhame bc now jude and cardan r in the book tons, but like why couldnt wren just stay in the palace with themmm like i get she wants to be all independent but if oak wants to see her he has to go all the way to the docks to her stupid little cottage. also oak saying that theyre betrothed is so like him, i dont know what i expected, its 100% the type of lie he would come up with

oak definitely has stockholm syndrome.. like what do you mean wren has him locked up and also has the freaking bridle on him but all bro wants to do is make up with her… i love oak but he’s so delusional istg. i just want jude and cardan to get him back and knock some sense into the kid. the book itself is pretty good but it gets a little boring just listening to oaks inner monologue while hes in wrens prison
