After Judy is attacked leaving work the police think Rick makes the perfect suspect. They don't search for the real attacker and then another woman is attacked and killed and Rick has no alibi. Police then arrest him leaving Judy with the rest of the team for bodyguards. She is having none of this and comes up with the plan to marry him as then the police can't use her to testify against him.

Judy the sister of Michael from earlier book in the series, graduates and comes to L.A. to live in Michael house while she does a 6 month unpaid internship. She has met Rick one of Mike's sexy bodyguards before and totally has a thing for the man. She however has decided to buckle down and follow her dream of becoming an architect, no time for men, especially Rick.
