Well Dr. Rowan is the MC of this book. He is an overworked surgeon and totally loves his work but starting to think there should be more to life than just working. He has seen some of his siblings find their happily ever after and when he least expects it his made have just been dropped on him.

Okay, I'm only at 15% and the narrators are doing a great job. However, I myself want to kill Blythe the mother. She is a horrible human being. I know in the description of the book that she gets murdered well it won't be soon enough. Again. What a horrible person.

Andy's best friend and love of his life left him to take a job back in her small town in the last book. Now Andy is getting back into the dating world but torn between missing Laurie and hating her for leaving.

How long have I been trying to get interested in this? I have lost track of time this may end up on the read later shelf.

She is ex cop who knew the victim when she was on the force. The victim was a crooked cop which was proven AFTER they wouldn't listen to her and she decided to leave the force. Now someone is trying to hang the murder on her.

I am loving the audio as the 1st ten books of this series I read in... gasp real hardback books! I have decided to go back over a few of my favorites old ones before moving on to the more current books. This book revolves around a murder which Andy's girlfriend Laurie is accused.

When famous movie star Jenny, that Andy knew in high school is accused of murder he takes on the case. With his team of Laurie his wife, Marcus and Cory her partners in security business they try to get to the bottom of who really killed Ryan the actor/costar and left him in her house with a knife in his back.

Well this is kind of disappointing so far. I really like Emma Chase books loved the Tangled series but... This book doesn't feel like her. Cute premise but the female MC Jade Buchanan is just not very likeable. The male MC Damon Burke is better but neither of them have me rooting for them. I guess the old lady Clarabelle Spicket who died and left them her property is the best character so far.

Read this in actual hard back years ago and now that my library has it on audio am going to listen to it. I just started this series where I left off in 2021 but decided to go back to the past as I recall I really like this book 2.

Been a long time since I read and Andy Carpenter book and can't think of why! I love this series available on audio from my library fyi. Andy is a lazy but smart lawyer who tries not to take clients. So funny, dry humor and the surrounding characters are perfect.

Yeah the book is old but still really good read, funny and sexy. Samantha is a hairdresser with 3 kids and AWOL ex that doesn't pay any child support. She works hard to keep it all together when a friend/client offers her a proposition. Pretend for 6 months to be the fiancee of womanizer, rich, bad boy, former football player, politician Jack Tolliver who is running for office and needs to clean up his reputation.

Surprisingly cute, sweet and love the characters! Well written and audio is great.

I DNF this book. I really liked the other books of the series I've read. I just couldn't get into these characters. There doesn't seem to be any real love just attraction between Callie and Foster but a accidental pregnancy brings them together. I am also not a big fan of can't date your brother's best friend thing, why not? If everyone's an adult, I don't see why this should be treated like a high school situation.

Not enjoying this as much as other books in the series. I am probably not in the mood for commitment phobe dude who has player reputation. He hooked up 1 time with his best friends sister and she got pregnant. Now she is really not wanting to ruin her brother's friendship by telling who the father is, but when she tells the baby daddy he surprises her and says he wants to be there for the baby.

Well narrated audio with lot of charm. Divorced mother of 3. Celine is remaking her life in small town and staying on the down low from her ex and his family. She and the kids have been traumatized and want a normal calm life. They rent a small house on a farm from a large grumpy farmer.

So much trouble getting started on this so it's on the backburner for now.
