All of this series are pretty much the same with different cases but I just love the humor. All the standing characters are filled with personality and Andy's constant avoiding clients, danger and work I find hilarious. His wife Lori is total badass but loves him in spite of it. She and her team work together to keep Andy out of trouble. Sam the accountant/computer guy is a riot.

Pulled this off the back burner again and not sure how it's going to go. I don't really like the heroine, she is a good person but very mouthy and horny.

Love Andy, the smart but lazy lawyer who has now picked up another case that he really didn't want, he never wants to work. He would rather spend his time at his dog adoption facility working with the dogs and finding them forever homes. However, now he is stuck with an ex-military with PTSD accused of killing a local politician.

Good series so well written and mystery is intriguing.

Bree is dealing with bodies found in a suitcase on the side of the road. Matt is off on a dog training project. FBI agent Mercy Kilpatrick shows up as she thinks her case of a missing politician's daughter could be one of the bodies. It is not but Mercy and Bree work together to try to find the killer.

This is going on hold for a bit as it is darker than I need at the moment. I hate cult type situations and am frustrated at how slow the actual plot is progressing.

Cassidy the 2nd to youngest Davies daughter works for the CIA. Unknown to her she has a man who has been following her for years. He steps in and helps her out in some of the more dangerous situations she gets into like a shadow. She doesn't know who he is and thought she imagined him. On her current assignment he helps her and she sees him, He then appears and disappears to her several times, she is intrigued!

This book is very dark to me so only able to do it a bit at a time. I find the hillbillies so very creepy and mentally disturbed. Sophie is only 14 and having to live there is worse than some of the more graphic murder mysteries. The flashbacks Cole her dad experiences are weird too. He slowly regains memories of the car wreck that seem like seizures to his friends.

Suspenseful romantic suspense takes place in the Philippines and has flashbacks to earlier days when this couple was married.

Another great, Charlie Parker mystery. Charlie's brother Ron is about to get married when his fiance is kidnapped the morning of the wedding. The police suspect the family and with no word on what happened to her, Charlie decides to investigate. Solid mystery part of the series. Very enjoyable, read or listen.

This tale is totally dark or maybe it's me. I hate cult type deals and the hillbilly hell Sophie has been kidnapped into just creeps me out. I sure hope her real dad Cole can find her before the pedofile that stole her ruins her more than the trauma she has experienced already.

Wren is a writer of romance books, an introvert - with a ton of baggage. Her dad has been married many times and she has half siblings near her age and two moms kind of... Wren always has been told she is not worth much by the father and this has left her afraid to trust.

Very sweet with lots of good and bad family issues. Griffin Marks the catcher is well loved and charming. He has a lot of grief in his life but is the glass half full type so makes the best of everything. After he get into a car accident with Wren he offers to let her stay in his duplex and take care of her till she is better.

A thriller for sure so very creepy and twisty.

This book is really amazing for a serious but swoony romance. Parts of it are so sweet and charming. It makes me smile.

Creepy thriller starts out with a young woman Sophie, waking up with a bunch of hillbillies that say she is part of their family. That she is their dead daughter returned to them by God. Meanwhile, her real father is released from the hospital after a horrible car accident in which he was told his wife and daughter died but they never found the bodies.

Struggling to finish this, it is really cute, funny and sexy but so little time to read! Not available on audio with is my go to lately as I can listen while driving.

This series is generally good romantic suspense. Often I don't really like the main characters but am a sucker for marriage that fell apart and gets a second chance so will give this one a try.

Relisten for me and I like this just as much the second time around. This is I think one of the best Jamie Farrell (Pippa Grant) books ever. It is sweet and charming with great characters.

I just love this series. I like all the legal jargon and shenanigans.
