This is going on hold for a bit as it is darker than I need at the moment. I hate cult type situations and am frustrated at how slow the actual plot is progressing.

This book is very dark to me so only able to do it a bit at a time. I find the hillbillies so very creepy and mentally disturbed. Sophie is only 14 and having to live there is worse than some of the more graphic murder mysteries. The flashbacks Cole her dad experiences are weird too. He slowly regains memories of the car wreck that seem like seizures to his friends.

This tale is totally dark or maybe it's me. I hate cult type deals and the hillbilly hell Sophie has been kidnapped into just creeps me out. I sure hope her real dad Cole can find her before the pedofile that stole her ruins her more than the trauma she has experienced already.

Creepy thriller starts out with a young woman Sophie, waking up with a bunch of hillbillies that say she is part of their family. That she is their dead daughter returned to them by God. Meanwhile, her real father is released from the hospital after a horrible car accident in which he was told his wife and daughter died but they never found the bodies.
