I was really slow getting into this one but it's actually starting to get good halfway through. A. Duke who spies for the crown is caught kissing. A girl and intern offers to marry her to save her reputation apparently. It's actually because he really wants her. He feels he needs to keep her at arms length to be safe from his enemies but she is no fainting wallflower.

Fiona Carver archaeologist is working on a great assignment in the Caribbean on Ruby Island. Unbeknownst to her the rich dude who owns the island has a thing for her. He brings in photographer Dean Slater who she met and fell for on a previous assignment, although their arrangement was kept as friends only she was it nevertheless crazy about him and it has not been able to forget him.

Interesting so far with woman anthropologist working for the navy in the alaskan islands. She is passionate about saving cultural ruins but she and her team were evacuated then returned with some different team members no one talking about who is now missing. While out in the field somehow the rest of the team is removed leaving her abandoned with new guy she doesn't trust. What is going on here?

Love this series please anyone if there are more like it by other authors let me know! Have read all the Crusie/Mayer books and this series along with Rocky Start are just so good. The plot, the snark, the quirky characters be still my heart LOL.

Told from the POV of 17 yr old in witness protection with her family. She has been moved many times, new places, new identities and she just wants to know what her father did but he won't tell. She doesn't bother to join clubs or make friends as she will just be relocated like all the other times. However a guy at her school is a bit too nosey and she is afraid he wants to know why her story doesn't add up.

Okay this starts out kind of dark and unsettling with teenager and her family getting relocated in witness protection AGAIN. We get the drift this has happened many times already and her life is constantly upturned.

She needs this bodyguard job darn it, she just isn't a people person. So as punishment for her last screw up her boss assigns her to 72 hrs protecting a tech billionaire who doesn't want a babysitter.

Kindle unlimited starts out with bang! A 14 yr old is kidnapped right on main street and her "aunt" is knocked down while trying to stop it. A man runs to her aid only she knows him as he used to be her boyfriend years ago. While giving chase they are hit by another car and the kidnapper gets away.

I give up, I just can't finish this one. The characters are stereotypes and I really don't like any of them.
