Status Update

I don’t really like the excessive debauchery in this book. I kinda wanted it more fantasy focused because this feels like it could be a great gothic fantasy and while the setting gives “The Nun” (great movie), it still feels like it’s 45% Euphoria coded. Like, pick an aesthetic already.

Her rage and “vitriol” was kind of… out of place? Like what? And then her revealing her name to Rory in a very religious way after said religion has come tumbling down around her???? Then the gang finally seeing under the shroud (my only question this entire story-less book) only for it to cut out and re-open with her getting a new shroud and just ignoring the loss of the previous one. WHAT?
