I think I’n enjoying this book so deeply, and so much more than my normal rereads, because Ive found such perfect evidence of the fact that ron is rowling’s best written character. she captures his jealousy, insecurity, and (sometimes inappropriate) humor in such relatable, yet infuriating ways (and i think that often makes readers uncomfortable, which is why he gets so much hate). but i find him to be compelling
