I “won” this book at book club and it’s about Iceland…. Crazy coincidence bc my family just started planning a trip there. I learned that in Icelandic culture they believe in formalities less, so a mayor or a police officer is simply referred to as their first name, instead of Mr. or Sir or whatever.
