their romance was too rushed. it felt like he liked her since the beginning. it wasn’t much enemies to lovers
- their romance feels kind of fake
- first 20% is just her whining.
- the middle of book was very interesting anr compelling
- their romance is too much for me. it feels like a photoshopped version of love.
- she literally begs after him. There’s a point where she should have given him space, i think

in the beginning, violet annoyed me, cause she didn’t believe in herself, said she was weak, didn’t have training, but somehow was very good with knifes? idk
why it also feels like she likes Xaden more than he likes her. The words she says feel kinda forced, not natural, not like real love, but like an idealized version of love. Idk how to explain. It just bothers me.
Also, i think i might prefer slow burns
