I need to probably finish this book completely before reading more of "Humans" by Surekha Davies, as they cover similar topics and I don't want to risk confusing where I read what.

Some sections are a slog, and some are fascinating. Reading about apotheosis of British Officers in India and the Western construct of categorizing religions has renewed my interest in this book.

I learned more about the Rastafarians than I ever knew previously.
