switching to the audiobook because I’m bored with the amount of descriptions, I need that 2.0x reading speed that my brain simply cannot do

the descriptions to everything else ratio is insane

so I finished Act One and I have no idea what to think of this book??? I’m intrigued, but it feels like a chore to read, I need to put a lot of work into it to even know what’s going on and that’s not why I read fantasy or even sci-fi, and the humor… oh boy, 17-year-old Alex would eat this up but 30-year-old me has not laughed once. idk man I’m confused
