I think this pastor is missing the point in all of these parables. Yes Jesus didn’t hurry, but he also didn’t try to avoid the pain that came from waiting. There was a lot of hurt that came from Him taking His time on both sides but He didn’t overlook that hurt. He lived it. Part of living a slow life is accepting the hurt everyone else is running from and learning to grieve and then to live again 🫠
