I think this pastor is missing the point in all of these parables. Yes Jesus didn’t hurry, but he also didn’t try to avoid the pain that came from waiting. There was a lot of hurt that came from Him taking His time on both sides but He didn’t overlook that hurt. He lived it. Part of living a slow life is accepting the hurt everyone else is running from and learning to grieve and then to live again 🫠

I think I almost gave a man a heart attack once when I told him o didn’t have a phone… it’s truly the older generations that have the addictions. If he wants to stick with that point than he could also realize that since tech world has been around for all of us that it really isn’t that much of an interest/addict for us bc it isn’t the shiny new toys that they see 😬
(Said fully knowing that i do believe we all go thru seasons where we rely on them more 🥰)
