Everything Connie Willis writes is brilliant but content warning of death and near-death-experience. Maybe not the best thing for me to be reading when my sister died suddenly of a heart attack last year, and I’m currently sitting in a plane on the tarmac while the mechanics decide if it’s safe to fly.
