I don’t think I’ve ever read a book where the world building is this poorly done

Yeah, I really don’t know how to feel about this one. I’ll finish it because it’s short, I’m halfway through and I got a really pretty edition for free at a yardsale. I got the sequel there too but I’m not sure if I’m going to pick it up.
