????? I dont remember the writing to be this atrocious in the second book but maybe it’s just my memory.
The plot is ALL OVER THE PLACE !! It’s your debut series, stick to simplicity if you can’t manage a more sophisticated plot, because you can’t. It’s a mess right now… the plot for the trilogy is supposed to be simple and still I have troubles to follow

Soft dnf for now. Hannah is not a GOOD author yet. She’s a beginner and it shows. She had ambition but maybe too much.
This series would have been better as a duology with a simpler fantasy plot and a cute romance story.
I feel like the story is middle schooler/YA level because the plot isn’t difficult in itself BUT plots points are added every 10 pages, nothing is resolved and it’s a pain to follow.
