I finished this book yesterday. Some parts of this story were so bleak it was depressing. I kept with it, though. I wish the story would continue.

This is a really good part of the book!

Some very good twists, turns, and surprises.

I'm up to the part about sending a person in the probe of the Staircase Project. As I've been reading this book, I see that Netflix's "3 Body Problem" series draws a little from each of the three books.

Looking forward to seeing how the first chapter fits in with the rest of the story and the previous books.
