i'm ngl the fact that mia is so fragile she can't go to college without her brother is a really tough pill to swallow... and jude blaming a teenage girl for her son's actions/laying all responsibility on this traumatized girl is crazy. these characters are all kind of the worst. this is not my favorite effort by kristin hannah
