The only thing that has rubbed me the wrong way about this last chapter is how callous Reed was written in response to Ben’s waking up. Ben even comments on how he doesn’t seem relieved or concerned at all — but in the film Reed hugs him and is genuinely happy and there’s obvious relief at Ben being up and seemingly alright. His obvious care for people is part of what I love about the 2005 version of Reed
