It started out well, but gosh I dunno if it’s the internalized misogyny of the time period but can we *not* dump all over a female character for just *checks notes* EXISTING?!

I kid you not, the MC spends a far too long time grumbling to himself that a girl (nicknamed Prune, I canNOT) likes his best friend but we can’t have that cuz she’s too . . . Boring?
