Them dedicating storage to archived recordings of the book 1 crew, even "trivial" ones like "Ratthi walking when he was tired after a long day", "laughing and pretending to defend himself as Pin-Lee threw a cushion at him", instead of replacing it with media is sooooooo.... especially after he has been shown to delete arguably essential technical knowledge for media because he couldn't bring himself to care.

Being this good at both internal monologuing/thinking and dialogue should be illegal.... it feels like fanservice the whole time like only a good cast of characters and worldbuilding could make you feel.. love this book already
