I don't like how in every illustration so far the men and even the boy look pretty and so symmetrical in a kind of grocery store romance novel cover way.... like im sorry but i tend to imagine characters like these visually much more "interesting" looking and with more interpersonal variation so yeah not a fan of the illustrations.. hell even the stocky guy w messy hair+beard from before got a romantic hero portrait
