Maybe I’m misremembering the previous two books, but this one is lacking the silliness and lighthearted feeling of the first books in this series. I’m not DNFing just yet, and I’m hoping it gets better but so far I’m pretty disappointed.

Why are we suddenly adding POVs from all the side characters & what appears to be new romantic sub plots? (Oh wait, I know! Sequel potential 😑 I don’t mind this when it starts at the very beginning of a series or book, but shoehorning it in towards the ends feels so tacky ((especially from a red tower book)) but whatever man)
