I couldn’t read this one. It’s about murder but the vampires rape the mom and the young girls, extremely young
It’s not something I want to read, even if it’s only a sentence or two

This is my favorite so far. It’s action packed and starts off with a bang but has a fantastic twist to it. Even though it’s a short story and feels like a novella to a longer series I don’t feel lost or confused. Like I want to find this series and read more in that world

Death Warmed Over by Rachel Cain
Wow this was really intriguing. A little dark and gross if you really think about the dead body angle but interesting. It makes me want to look into what else this author has written

2⭐️ WTF was that? The ending made absolutely NO sense. How did the cop get drugged with something she had to drink when she knew it was drugged and was trying to attack the villain?
Why would the MMC get charged with drunk and disorderly when he wasn’t drunk and was being attacked? BY THE VILLAIN
This was just not well thought out

Seeing Eye by Patricia Briggs
I’ve tried some of her books before and haven’t been a fan. This one made me think, maybe I should give them another try. She’s dark, darker the. I usually read, but sometimes I crave those dark books. It was ridiculously short. I know it’s an anthology but 38 pages feels extremely tight
