I know that most people think that this series is overrated, but it brings me joy, I last felt when I was reading romfant and romantasy 15 years ago
I mean I waited for its release and I have NEVER done that with any other series
However, I'm 30 pages in, and I feel like it tries too much. Was it like that in the previous two? Like the author tries to be funny in every line, I mean EVERY line

I think I will finish this one, just because I don't want another dnf on my shelf. But I am so not waiting for the next one.
Like I've heard of filler episodes, chapters, but an entire book?! feels like a scam.
If I had to write a summary: they want to be together but they won't, the world around them is crumbling down. Only that description fits every single book in this series.

meh, it is the same pattern where some characters know something crucial that will reveal itself at the end of the book, yet they refuse to talk or think about it, so we are just left with "he hoped that he was wrong", "she tried to remember what it reminded her of".
I started reading the series when it was a trilogy, now it is just a moneymaker, so the plot is losing its marbles just as fast as I lose my interest
